Building meaningful relationships with patients and their families is at the heart of Dr. Hayden Welter’s approach to dentistry. He enjoys getting to know the people behind the smiles he treats while helping each patient achieve a healthy, confident smile they can be proud of. With a passion for personalized care and creating positive dental experiences, Dr. Welter looks forward to making a difference in the lives of patients throughout New Smyrna Beach.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Born and raised in Eustis, Florida, Dr. Welter attended AdventHealth University in Orlando, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. During his undergraduate studies, he founded the university’s pre-dental club while also finding time to compete in bass fishing tournaments outside of school.
Dr. Welter went on to attend Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While completing his dental education, he continued his love of sports by playing on an intramural basketball team.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Sports and the outdoors have always been a big part of Dr. Welter’s life. Growing up, he played varsity football and basketball and developed a love for bass fishing that continues today. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, bird hunting, and cheering on the Florida Gators football team. He also loves spending time with his wife, Brittany, especially when they have the opportunity to try new restaurants together.
