CT/Cone Beam Scanner
Dental implant placement, root canal treatment, and other complex dental procedures are now easier to plan and execute thanks to the CT/Cone Beam Scanner. Taking images of a patient’s oral and facial structures, the device combines them to create a single 3D model that our team can analyze and use when preparing treatment plans. Although X-rays offer a closer look at areas unseen by the naked eye, the CT/Cone Beam Scanner takes digital imaging to another, more clearly defined level.
Digital Impressions
Crafting dental crowns, veneers, dentures, dental bridges, and other similar restorations no longer requires cold dental putty. This messy material often caused patients to gag as well as extended appointment times. Now, with digital impressions, our team can quickly scan a person’s mouth with a handheld device, transferring the data to a chairside monitor for easy viewing. Lab technicians can then use the three-dimensional model to fabricate a custom restoration with optimal precision.
Intraoral Camera
Dr. Flynn and Dr. Tran rely on our intraoral camera to provide patients with clear visuals and explanations about their oral health. The wand has a small camera that projects close-up images of the person’s teeth and gums, allowing both the individual and our dentists to easily see what is occurring inside the mouth.
